Who We Are
Alker and Co. is Dustin and Courtney Alker. We are a husband and wife team endeavoring to help you find your way toward better food, health, and natural living.
Dustin runs a small scale organic vegetable farm, with a passion for helping people grow a deeper connection to their food, health, and community.
Courtney has been a licensed hairstylist for over 13 years. She became a mom, and in doing so, uncovered a whole different passion for health and wellness. A trained birth doula, and essential oil enthusiast, she has become dedicated to transferring that knowledge to others. When she’s not wrangling their 6 boys into the Coral Casino (see their unique vehicle) or homeschooling, you’ll find her sharing coffee and conversation aimed at empowering her customers on their journey toward living whole and healthy. Courtney enjoys the process of writing, and uses their loud and full lives as the backdrop for many reflective musings. You can read the content here, on the blog. Social media has provided a platform for education and support for those in a similar stage of life.
Most recently the Alkers have finalized the adoption of two of their sons through foster care. Their foster care journey is an inspiration behind much of what they do.
